My reading group has been learning about weta and I did this activities all the parts of a weta.

An experiment with me and my buddy

  This week my reading group has been doing a experiment me and my buddy Phoenix  did the experiment when we went in side for about 5 to 10 minutes then me and my buddy went back out side and we went to look at are experiment and some of the water went away but when we went out when it was lunch time.All are water evaporated.

 Once upon a time there was a man his name was Rangi and he was the sky father he was maried to Pokoharua-te-po they had 4 sons the oldest son was Aoraki.The other sons names were Rakiroa and Rakirua,Rarakiroa. 

Rangi he fall in love with Papatuanuku-the earth mother. And they got maried than the 4 brothers went to have a better look at her they went on a Waka to go see her and they went to look for more land when a terrible storm hit them and they thought That it was Rangi.

Aoraki had to say a special karakia to lift up the boat but Aoraki made a mustake and the Waka started to turned on angle.  so they climed up on the waka and they hadetaied together and there here turned White and they turend into stone and they became the southern Alps.The oldest son was Aoraki who is mount cook.
